AQUATICS

Our Aquatics department offers a wide variety of programming for all ages. Swim laps, dance the calories away in Aqua Zumba, join the swim team or get a lifeguarding certification. The Club offers an indoor eight lane lap pool, hot tub, outdoor pool and splash park.


 
 

group swim lessons

youth

Learn to swim in a group setting with low child-to-instructor ratios. Children ages 3 and up are introduced to basic stroke movement and learn how to be comfortable in the water. Higher level swimmers learn stroke technique, endurance, and safety skills.

Learn the various swim strokes in instructor-led classes designed specifically for adults. Level 1 includes an introduction to swimming and refinement of all formal swim strokes, while Level 2 teaches advanced techniques designed to prepare swimmers for lap swimming and individual workout routines.

baby & me

Join fun-filled classes designed to help the parent and child get comfortable with the water. Parents and toddlers ages 1 to 3 are introduced to the basics, including blowing bubbles, kicking, floating, and breath control.

Join us for The World’s largest Swimming Lesson™ Thursday, June 20 at 1 pm.

This event is a free 30-minute swim lesson offered to members and non-members. Spread the word to anyone who is interested in learning how to swim.

An Aquatics Registration Form must be completed before entering the water.

 

PRIVATE swim lessons

Prefer a more private setting to learn how to swim or improve your stroke? Private lessons are available for adults and children of any age. Appointments are schedule based on instructor availability.

one on one

One on one lessons are 30 minutes in duration and consist of one instructor and one swimmer.

Partner lessons are 30 minutes in durations and consist of one instructor and two swimmers. Pricing is shared between two participants.

Certifications & Training

Lifeguard Certification

3-Day Certification
$200/member or $215/nonmember

Recertification $75/member or $90/nonmember
Become a Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard. Prerequisites for the certification include swimming three hundred yards consistently, retrieving a ten pound brick and treading water. 
*Re-certs will be held on April 13, May 11, May 31, June 23 and August 4

Session 3: April 6, 7, and 13, 9 am to 5 pm

lifeguard instructor training

3-Day Certification
$300/member or $315/non-member

Become certified to teach American Red Cross Lifeguard training courses in this 3-day training. Candidates for this training must be a current American Red Cross Lifeguard, hold a current American Red Cross professional-rescuer CPR/AED certification and be 17+ years of age.

May 16, 17, and 18, 9 am to 5 pm

CPR, First Aid and AED

1-Day Certification
$75/member or $90/nonmember

Get certified through the American Red Cross. Upon successful completion of this one day course, the participant will know how to respond to emergencies and administer common first aid to adults, infants and children. The certification is good for 2 years. Participants must register at the Club AND through American Red Cross.  

Spring
Session 2: April 20, 9 am to 2 pm

Summer
Session 1: May 20, 4 to 9 pm
Session 2: June 17, 4 to 9 pm
Session 3: July 13, 10 am to 3 pm

SWIM TEAM
