The Club offers action packed full day camps during Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer. So, take a load off and know your camper has a place with us when school is out. The Germantown Municipal School District schedule is followed for all programming.

VACATION FUN DAYS

January 15, February 19 and March 30, 7am-6pm
$30/
member, $25/sibling, $35/nonmember
No school? No worries! Sign the kids up for days off such as holidays, teacher admin days, etc. The Club has a huge variety of exciting activities for campers including swimming, fitness classes, arts and crafts, wacky games and more. Registration deadline is the Tuesday before the program.

Registration for all GAC summer camps is currently open. Camps offered this summer include GAC’s Full Day Summer Camp and Bits, Bytes and Bots half day camps. 

WHAT TO BRING TO REGISTRATION

PAYMENT

  • GAC Full Day Summer Camp - A deposit of $40/member or $55/nonmember per week is required to secure your camper's spot. Deposits for full day camp are non-refundable, however they are applied towards the balance of each reserved week. The balance for each week is due no later than 1 week before the session begins.
  • Bits, Bytes & Bots - Full payment of each session of $175/member or $190/nonmember is required to secure your camper's spot. Extended care is also available for $50/week. Payment for Bits, Bytes & Bots camps are nonrefundable.

full day summer CAMP

May 29-August 3, 7am-6pm
Weekly Rate:  $140/member or $155/nonmember

Choose one week or all ten! No two weeks are the same at GAC's Full Day Summer Camp. Each week's activities are centered around weekly camp themes. Campers will participate in group games, fitness classes, arts and crafts, swimming and visits to the Germantown Community Library. Campers should pack 2 snacks, lunch, swim gear and a refillable water bottle each day. Camp is offered to children 6 years of age all the way to those entering 6th grade. swim lessons during summer camp

Little Fish:  Ages 6-8, Big Fish:  Ages 9-11
Mondays/Wednesdays, 10-10:50am (Little Fish), 11-11:50am (Big Fish)
Fees:  $90 per member, $105 per nonmember

Lessons are conveniently offered during camp each Monday and Wednesday morning for 4 weeks. Camp counselors will escort campers to and from the lessons.  Summer Camp Swim Lessons are available for summer camp participants only. Sign up for one or both sessions offered this summer!

Session 1: June 4 to June 27
Session 2: July 9 to August 1

To register complete a  2018 Annual Aquatics Registration Form and submit payment at the Customer Service Desk. Registration deadline for swim lessons is the Thursday prior to each session. Space is limited.


BITS, BYTES & BOTS SUMMER CAMPS

Video Game Design
June 18-22, 9am-12pm
Fees:  $175 per member, $190 per nonmember, After Care available 12-6pm $50
Don't just play video games, learn how to make them! Campers will create and design their own PC based video game. They will make 2 games including a multi-level game. They will learn to code objects with events and actions, design a room to make it look the way they want and make a game with health, lives and scoring. Campers will take home their games on a CD at the end of the week. Rising third graders through sixth graders are welcome. 

Robots & Robots
June 4-8, 9am-12pm
Fees:  $175 per member, $190 per nonmember, After Care available 12-6pm $50
Two robots are twice as fun as one. Campers will use both the Lego Mindstorms NXT as well as the Dash robot to learn to program and code. They will build the Lego Mindstorms NXT and use sensors to complete various challenges including robot Sumo. Campers will compete in robot soccer and catapult challenge with the Dash robot. Rising second graders through sixth graders are welcome. 

 

Minecraft Mechanisms
July 16-20, 9am-12pm
Fees:  $175 per member, $190 per nonmember, After Care available 12-6pm $50
Campers take Minecrafting to the next level through engineering. This camp introduces campers to the power of Redstone, the foundation of all advanced technology in Minecraft. Using motors, pistons, switches and diodes, campers will build an exciting variety of useful devices such as Cobblestone generators, farming machines, devious traps and powerful TNT cannons. Campers take home a CD at the end of class. This camp is ideal for campers with basic Minecraft experience, but new players are welcome. Laptops are provided. Rising second graders through sixth graders welcome.

Lego Movie Magic
July 9-13, 9am-12pm
Fees:  $175 per member, $190 per nonmember, After Care available 12-6pm $50
Learn to make a stop-motion animated film using LEGO and other characters to tell a story. If you've ever wanted to direct your own movies or like making up stories, this camp is for you. Working in teams of two, you will use i-Pads and an animation application to create multi-scene movies with transitions, titles, credits, sound effects and narration. Design your own set with backgrounds, characters and scenery. Campers take home a CD at the end of class. No experience necessary. Rising second graders through sixth graders welcome.

 

To register complete an online 2018 Youth Activities Registration Form, BBB Enrollment Form and submit payment at the Customer Service Desk. Registration deadline for BBB camps are the Tuesday prior to each camp. Space is limited.


counselor in training

May 29-August 3, 7am-6pm
$100/member, $115/nonmember weekly

The Counselor in Training (CIT) program is available to rising 7th graders through age 15. Participants should be ready and willing to learn how to mentor younger children. Duties may include assisting counselors by leading and participating in camp projects, swimming and fitness activities. Responsibilities are assigned by the Lead Counselors. Returning CITs must contact the Youth Activities Coordinator for enrollment information. New CITs must complete an application and go through an interview process prior to being accepted in the program.


A Youth Activities Registration Form must be completed once per calendar year to be able to participate in any program or activity at Germantown Athletic Club. The registration deadline for all camps and programs is the TUESDAY prior to the upcoming event.
