We are excited to announce that all formal approvals from the City of Germantown Board of Mayor and Aldermen are complete, and we are ready to move forward with construction! We also have important dates to share with you regarding closures during the renovation.
November 1: The Natatorium (indoor pool/whirlpool area) will close for the duration of the estimated six-month renovation.
November 2: The Ladies’ Locker Room and Family Changing Rooms will temporarily close for updates and are expected to reopen sometime before the six month timeframe. The Kids’ Locker Room will also be unavailable during this period.
Alternative Locker Rooms & Restrooms: During the renovation, please use the restrooms located upstairs and downstairs, as well as the ladies’ locker room on the weight floor.
As a reminder, this project brings comprehensive upgrades to our aquatic and locker room facilities, including:
Mechanical & Air Quality: Complete overhaul of pool and whirlpool mechanical systems for consistent water temperature and quality, alongside retrofitted ductwork for the dehumidifier.
Pool Deck & Accessibility: A newly resurfaced pool deck, a zero-depth entry ramp for accessible entry, and a new sail structure with overhead equipment cleared away.
Locker Room Refreshes: Modernized amenities in the Ladies’ Locker Room, Family Changing Rooms, and both Outdoor Pool Locker Rooms.
